About the Event

Join us for the unofficial U.S. premiere of an award-winning Hungarian film!After screenings at several European festivals and in Hungarian cinemas and streaming platforms, Raw Material will now be shown in New York – courtesy of the Hungarian Library.Director Martin Boross will also join us for this special private screening and Q&A.

Before the screening, guests are invited to enjoy Hungarian wines and delicacies.After the film, we warmly welcome you to a conversation where, alongside behind-the-scenes stories from Raw Material, the director will share – for the first time publicly – details about his upcoming short film, a U.S.–Hungarian co-production.

The conversation will be moderated by Anikó Szűcs.
