Are you interested in becoming a social media planner and gaining real-world marketing experience or digitizing the history of the Hungarian community in the United States? If so, then this internship is for you. 

Details:

Main responsibilities:

• Strategize, execute, and manage Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.

• Manage monthly newsletters.

• Report on Key Metrics.

• Conduct, gather and analyze market research.

• Remote work with weekly check-ins.

The Hungarian Archives – populate and organize the digital archive of the American Hungarian Library and Historical Society.

You would help us with our digital initiatives:

• Research our collection and identify relevant documents and photographs

• Digitize and organize historical material and manage submissions to The Hungarian Archives, including selecting material, editing meta-data content, tags, etc.

• Update our website for digital content, e.g. archives, submissions, regular updates.

• Requires some onsite presence but most tasks can be managed remotely with weekly check-ins.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a higher education institution.

• Studying Communication Studies, Marketing, or Similar Field.

• Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Hungarian is a plus but not necessary.

• Canva, Photoshop experience a plus.

Timing: 2021 March 1-2021 June 30, or as agreed.
