2025 Fundraiser Event – Celebrating 70 Years of the American Hungarian Library

Join us for a special evening as we celebrate our 70th anniversary with food, community and cultural traditions. This year’s Fundraiser Event brings all of our activities together into one festive event, featuring two competitions (Körözött and Rétes), live music and our silent auction.

About the Event
The entrance fee is $20. Annual and Sustaining Members enjoy complimentary admission, but they still need to register. The discount will be applied at check-out. Your membership pays for itself! Children under 15, accompanied by an adult, also enjoy free entry. If you participate in the Körözött or Rétes (Strudel) Competition, you still need to purchase a ticket.
Körözött Competition: We know making körözött in the U.S. is a challenge and certain ingredients need to be substituted. What local ingredients would you use? Show us your best körözött! You can use any base ingredients, but the spirit of körözött should remain! Bring your spread ready to serve; we’ll provide tasting plates and bread.
